Amy Winehouse

This layout was designed for a contest through the Society of Publication Designers Student Outreach.
In the eyes of the public, Amy Winehouse is a caricature. Her giant beehive, huge eyeliner, and tattoos make her instantly recognizable and an ideal Halloween costume. I created a vector of her using only these characteristics; largely emphasizing the beehive.
I wanted the font choice and color palette to reflect her music. The title font is blues-y and vintage. I used only black and white colors to simplify the layout and add some elegance.
